jada mcneill is an artist based in New York City with a career in music technology including music production, audio engineering, mixing engineering, along with a career in film including music scoring, music supervision and screenwriting.

jada got her start in music when learning how to play drums + percussion in middle and high school, which led to her start in majoring music technology and minoring in film at Brooklyn College from 2023 to 2025. she learned skills on how to produce music, understanding the technical sides of recording music, writing film scripts, and producing films.

jada gained her knowledge and education from Kingsborough Community College and Brooklyn College, which helped her learn about how to write film scripts, compose music, understanding the music business side of the music industry, helped her understand the producing side of making films. with this, she gained a love for all things music + film because they are interconnected. from knowing how to license a song for a film, to knowing the technical aspects of how to get a perfect recording for a song, to composing songs, jada has tremendous experience on how to work in both the music and film industry in New York City.

jada’s volunteering work includes being an intern for the Brooklyn College Electro-acoustic Ensemble, which included setting up the technical equipment including microphones and working the sound mixing board. She also has volunteered at her local Brooklyn Public Library to help serve the public in finding books needed for readers.

jada’s personal and career goals include having a thriving and successful career in the music + film industry, wanting to work along side artists to help them produce music that helps them find their sound, as well as working as a studio session musician. jada’s personal interests outside of music including drawing, painting, and traveling.
